The show centers on the domestic life of its nominal title character, Stan Smith, a staunchly conservative Republican CIA agent, and self-proclaimed patriot. He is married to Francine Smith, a fairly ditzy housewife who is trying to make up for a wild youth. Their two children are Hayley Smith, a passionately left-wing college-aged activist, and Steve, an awkward teenage nerd. The Smith family is also in possession of two bizarre nonhumans — Roger, an escaped alien from Area 51 who Stan is covertly housing in defiance of his employer, and Klaus, a goldfish whom the CIA implanted with the brain of an East German Olympic skier.

The big mistake comes from the fact the season 2 episodes are listed along with the season 1 ones
Contrary to Family Guy, American Dad is still great. Probably because its story is a bit more consisting and it has Sir Patrick Stewart in it quite frequently.
Some of the episodes are listed wrong. For example, it seems as if all of the season 5 episodes are actually season 4 episodes.

So, is this season 7 or season 8? Imdb and FOX say it's season 8, everywhere else says it's season 7. I thought it was season 7 too, I don't understand what's going on with the timetable of this show.
Anybody knows what the Encore episode airing tonight is about?

I'm just filling in the blanks for other shows. I noticed that some shows had people looking at what the status for next year was and I wasn't here when some of the status changes happened. I'm just quickly filling in the remaining shows that I see.
I agree the index is messed up. Also, two episodes are listed as 17. Additionally, the first 17 (Hurricane) did not air on 5/1/11. Other shows from FOX are in error as well (Family Guy (ep16) and The Cleveland Show (ep21)) as they did not air yet.
