Married ... with Children is a show about the life of the Bundys. They always seem to have bad luck in every episode. They include Al (Ed O'neill), a lowly women's shoe salesman, Peggy (Katey Sagal) , the wife who sits and watches TV all day, Kelly (Christina Applegate), an empty-headed but attractive blonde, and Bud, a smart, short, and weird little boy. They also have a dog named Buck, who sits and makes perverted jokes. The sitcom represents a distinct departure from the saccharine-sweet television families viewers have known since the days of Father Knows Best. With unflinching honesty, Married ... With Children paints a painfully funny picture of a not-so-typical middle class American family.
