Sunburn followed the lives and loves of holiday reps working for the ficticious 'Janus Holiday Team'. Sunburn was filmed on location in Cyprus for the first series and the team moved to the Algarve for the second series. They were headed by Head Rep Nicki Matthews but after the first series Julie left and David Janus joined the team as did Sean Maguire.
