The Muppet Show is, like its theme song professes, "sensational, inspirational, and celebrational". The show was the brainchild of Jim Henson, brought to life with the delightful puppets created in the Jim Henson Workshop. Truly an innovative variety program, it was popular with children and adults alike during its five-season run. The show includes musical numbers, comedy sketches, dance routines, and random bits along with scenes behind the stage. For any child growing up in the 1970s, it was a must-see.
