This series centers on a formerly filthy rich video store magnate Johnny Rose, his soap star wife Moira, and their two kids, über-hipster son David and socialite daughter Alexis, who suddenly find themselves broke. They are forced to live in Schitt's Creek, a small depressing town they once bought as a joke.

Fantastic show. Adored the characters. So funny.
2=6>4>3>5>1. Show has more dud episodes than in my favorite easy watching sitcoms, yet is still pretty solid. The last season pulls off the big emotional moments and allows the characters (especially Alexis) to sincerely grow, without committing the error of other similar sitcoms and focusing on story/arcs so much that there are fewer jokes—the final season is one of the funniest.
