ABC reduced the number of episodes of freshman drama "Notorious" from 13 to 10. When a network opts to produce fewer episodes of a show than originally planned, it usually portends the show's cancellation. The legal soap opera was given one of the best timeslots on ABC's schedule, Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT, sandwiched between the network's hits "Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away With Murder." Unfortunately, the show performed poorly in the Nielsen ratings. The most recent episode of the show garnered a 0.9 Live + Same Day rating among Adults 18-49, down 57% from "Grey's Anatomy's" 2.1. Despite its low numbers, ABC plans to air all 10 produced episodes of the series.
This was a lot better than I thought it would be. My husband and I enjoyed the pilot.
