I like Discovery and love Picard, but this is even better.
I agree with both comments below me that the first episode does look promising, a return to the roots. Let's hope Kurtzman can keep this up and doesn't make the same mistakes as in Discovery and Picard
This was a lot better then Picard.
loved this first episode; looks more like what it was at the beginning Star Treck... more discovering new worlds. Picard and last seasons of Discovery sounded a little like a drama in space and less SF.
