How I Met Your Mother is a comedy about Ted (Josh Radnor) and how he fell in love. When Ted's best friend, Marshall (Jason Segal, Freaks and Geeks), decides to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily (Alyson Hannigan, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Ted realizes that time may be running out on finding the love of his life. His friend Barney (Neil Patrick Harris, Doogie Howser MD) is the anti-Marshall, a guy who thinks he knows everything about meeting women and isn't afraid to tell you.

Could be sweet, I mean if they manage to make the episode anywhere near as good as the original Slutty Pumpkin episode it'll be epic.

This show is getting worse and worse... I don't know how long I'm going to cope with this. I'm thinking of stopping to watch this.
I read the show was renewed for yet two new seasons... I really liked this show, but lately it's just not so legen-wait for it-dary anymore. I can't understand why it's renewed for even two new seasons. In my opinion it's best to wrap it all up soon.
Why would Ted need eight seasons to tell his kids the story of how he met their mother?!
i bet ted talking to the children isn´t even really happening, i guess ted never marries and its more a afterlife thing like in lost ;)
@ThyCaptain yes first 3 seasons were really AWESOME but lately...
It's been getting worse...but it's still worth watching.
