Watch FMA before anything, definitely. Both of them. As for Welcome to the NHK, eh, I'm just not sure it's the kind of show I feel like watching right now. I only have 7 episodes left of Doctor Who and then I'll probably get started on another drama, but as for anime I've recently downloaded three (Code Geass, Bokurano, and Mirai Nikki) and I'm probably gonna watch at least one of those before anything else. But like likwidsolutions, if you rave about Welcome to the NHK then I'll probably pick that one up.
@Renegade412 Yeah some of the stuff was movies, the pack has a lot of films and shows, but all anime. Chaos;Head is only 11 episodes, so it might be worth it just to try it. I think I've seen the first episode or two of DtB, but I just don't remember it much. It seemed like an interesting series though, worth another shot. Most likely it will be FMA first as I just watched episode 1a nd loved it.
@likwidsolutions Watch Gungrave. I like that one. Vampire Hunter D is pretty cool too (movies, aren't they?). Apparently Chaos;Head is bad (ask Zelos about it). I'll be watching Darker than Black later in the year. Probably Rurouni Kenshin too.
@Renegade412 Honestly the premise sounds a little out there. I will wait to check out your opinion on it before giving it a shot. I just downloaded two large anime packs of shows (about 100 gigs total of animes). NHK was one of them. I also got Ah My Goddess pack, Full Metal Alchemist Pack, Hellsing, Chaos;HEAd (which is supposed to have some connections with Steins;Gate), Ghost in a Shell, DArker than Black, Gungrave, Persona, Rurouni Kenshin (which I've seen), Valkyria Profile, Vampire Hunter D, Trinity Blood, Ys collection. If there are any others you suggest let me know. I am obviously not going to be watching all of these soon, but I am going to make an effort to start watching more anime.
@likwidsolutions@Zelos@yoryan When I finish Alcatraz and Eden of the East I'm probably going to start Welcome to the NHK. (http://followmy.tv/shows/13013/NHK_ni_Youkoso) Just announcing this so any of you that are keen on watching an anime at a similar time still have a bit of time to grab the episodes. My torrent should be finished soon, but I want to get these other two series out of the way first.
you should add Quantum Leap to your "to watch" list, definitely worth it. Don't expect you to check it out soon, but keep in mind for the future. Nearly every episode is top-notch.
I was just reading an article that said Australians can access Netflix via 360. You have to get an American Gamertag and mess around with some other stuff, but here's the info if you're interested.
How much of Farscape did you watch? I remember you saying you thought it was okay, but there were only a few really good episodes. I'm enjoying it a lot more than you I guess, because most of S2 so far has been excellent, and the end of S1 was just as good, mostly 4s and 5/5s.
All of my "media time" (books, video games, movies, tv) is spent on TV. I haven't really read books or played games in a while, which is why I've been able to focus on shows. I'm not working now either, just finishing up my last quarter of school before I graduate, so I have plenty of time.
@likwidsolutions Yep, congratulations. My viewing has slowed right down to a crawl at the moment, with uni and work taking up 75% of my waking hours. The other 25 is a balance between TV, games and books.

You watched Eden of the East, right? It's like a good version of that.
@Zelos Mirai Nikki? I'll put in in my utorrent queue (#51, god damn!)
@Renegade412 FYI, I'm working on an anime at the moment I plan on recommending to you as soon as I finish.
Berserk
Should I watch Berserk or Claymore next?
@Zelos Out of those three, watch Code Geass first.
I actually downloaded NHK so I'll probably watch it after I finish this season on 24.

@likwidsolutions I've seen a few episodes of it in syndication, looks okay but not like something I'm going to want to watch the whole series of.

@likwidsolutions I'm happy to sail the high seas. Streaming content has never appealed to me.

@likwidsolutions Last episode I watched was Season 3, Episode 8. Didn't stop for any particular reason, just stopped.
