I wish I could watch more TNG, but I have to wait for my dad to catch up!

Maybe I should start TOS in the meantime.......

Actually, it didn't rip off of B5's premise. B5 premiered in 1994, DS9 premeired in 1993. They both use the space station setting, but they are completely different shows, but they are both probably my favorite 2 scifi shows. I don't know how to explain DS9, but if you love character development, Star Trek, and Babylon 5, then you will LOVE DS9, and I'm guessing you will love it more than TNG.

You could actually go ahead and Start DS9. It takes place 3 years after the Battle at Wolf 359 (against Locutus), and that is an integral part of the story. When I first started it, I thought I'd never love those characters more than TNG's, but I do.

I actually just finished watching Star Trek Enterprise about 10 minutes ago. I spent the past 5 months watching all the series. I think I'll go watch Stargate next.

@likwidsolutions It's entirely possible. I've been going through TNG *really* slowly, but I might pick it back up now. I'd be going into DS9 knowing that it's basically a premise ripped off directly from Babylon 5 (which is my favorite show), but I'm definitely at the very least willing to give it a chance. I do love me some character development.

Will you be watching Deep Space Nine next? I actually think DS9 is better. They are both great series, but DS9 has more character development and such a detailed environment.
