Yeah, he was a troubadour, singing unappropriate songs about king Robert, lol. I had to google him, because I couldn't remember either. http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Marillion
"michaela is following 17th Precinct." ooh, have you seen the pilot? BOOM SADNESS, I legit liked it better than Grimm's :( GDI, NBC! LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES! Also, lol at me, but I didn't know Esai Morales was in it too, so when he showed up I was like "holy Adama reunion, Batman!" :') Oh, and while we're in the subject, let's talk about Jamie's perfect EVERYTHING ♥___♥ I kid you not, this was the sound I made when his face showed up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=SceGxet8l4A#t=341s :'D
I understand. It was such a good season though. I want more. But it will never be more :((( Hey, I would even take Clyde and Rani as future Doctor's companions (or Luke - although I don't think he would like to go into his mom's footsteps), but that's not going to happen either. Maybe if RTD was still in charge of Doctor Who, but he's not and ihateeverything.gif :(
On a happier, much happier note, how hilarious was episode 3 of Threesome? I PEED MY PANTS during the shitfuck shitfuck shitfuck scene! Poor robot-baby, lol!
Of course I forgive you ♥ It's not your fault the show got canceled. Oh well, c'est la vie, there's nothing we can do about it now except maybe watch Free Agents UK.
Sorry for saying this, but I don't mind The Playboy Club being canceled. Maybe I would if I watched 1x03. 1x02 made me like Carol-Lynn a little too much and I decided that if I will keep watching, things could become dangerous, so I quit ;)
Watching Hidden then! But not before I see your spams. So get to work, woman ;D I really miss your pretty graphics.
Potato! I liked Free Agents! DAMN YOU, MICHAELA. And F*** YOU NBC FOR CANCELING IT. Out of every other new comedies/sitcoms I'm watching this season (and failing to quit even though I really really want to -- that is: Up All Night; 2 Broke Girls; Suburgatory; Whitney--eww I know, don't stay a word, I only watch it for the guy), Free Agents is definitely the funniest and it sort of... has a ... heart? If you know what I mean. So, I finally watch a show, like it and then I find out it's canceled. Sadface forever :(
Now, tell me more about Philip Glenister's Hidden. Is this Ian Wylie's review accurate?: "When not bare-chested in bed, drinking white wine and smoking a cigarette. We see him brooding in his car and on the Underground." Umm, YES PLEASE.
It's everything I've ever dreamed of ♥ I stumbled upon a similiar site few weeks ago, but it was in French :D Well, in my humble opinion it's awful (and I mean it literally), but there's one interesting subplot I'm curious about, so I'll watch a few episodes to see where it goes :) If you want to know why I didn't like it, you can read my review here - http://serialy.kinema.sk/2011/09/the-playboy-club-pilot-1x01
Dubbing films/shows (with the exception of those for kids) is so dumb, in my opinion. Of course it would make you laugh, hearing American/English character speaking your own language. At least in the spoken over thing you can still hear original soundtrack a little, so it's not entirely bad.
Polish translation of Harry Potter books is excellent, I must give it a credit. We have some of the names spelled Polish way (Gregorowicz, Wiktor Krum etc. and I guess Hermiona comes within this category as well), but that's understandable. Basicially, the translator kept all human names as they were in the original, with one small exception: we have Korneliusz Knot instead of Cornelius Fudge. Knot because he "screws things up" (knot --> knocić). The translator just couldn't help himself LOL. Magical creatures names (elfs, goblins) are all translated though, but I like it that way :) Dobby = Zgredek, Winky = Mrużka, Griphook = Gryfek... :)
We have films with subtitles at the movies (again, with the exception of some things... Harry Potter, for example, but thank God subtitled version is also available for one to choose!). But on the tv? It's rare on public channels. Mispronouncing names is the worst! It happens here too. Okay, so I admit I don't know how to pronounce some English names (it took me years to learn how to pronounce "Hermione"), but those lectors should know those things, it's their work!
Oh no, those "penis" jokes (there were two if I remember correctly) weren't rude or anything. They were kinda funny in the context, to be honest. As for Paul Campbell's character, well, he wants to be this lady-killer, but usually he fails, sometimes in a dorkish, adorable way, but mostly in a douch-y one. I don't know, sometimes I like him, sometimes I don't. Hmmm, I think I like him only around his brother, actually. Anyway, you check that show when you're bored or something; I don't want my opinions to be the reason for you missing Paul Campbell on screen.
I see your IT Crowd re/watch is over :( Isn't Bad Boys the best episode ever? I can watch it all the time, it never fails to make me laugh. I also love Something Happened ("My arse is not a canvas!") and The Final Countdown ("I'm not a window cleaner!"). Oh Roy!
I must dl and rewatch the earlier series (1-3) myself one day. I've watched them on telly only, twice, but it was long time ago. Here in Poland tv shows and movies that air on TV aren't usually dubbed into Polish (with the exception of children's programs, such as Disney's Hannah Montana, and animated films, like Shrek). Translation is spoken over by a (male) lector. So anyway, it's a very different experience than watching stuff in original/with subtitles. Mostly because the lector skips many jokes and curse words. But it doesn't necessary have to be a bad thing; some lectors are doing good job in making dialogues even funnier than they originally are, plus their voices sound quite nice, so *voicegasm* ;)
Re: Almost Heroes. Episodes 2 and 3 aren't any better than the pilot; the show is still unfunny (there are some funny moments, but not enough; even awkwardly funny, I'd say, mostly Paul Campbell scenes when he overuses words such as "penis" in front of girls). The only thing I liked about 1x02 was Doctor Who reference.
Yup, yup! I mean, well, I've seen random episodes on the television (although I usually only catch Stargate Atlantis tbh, but I figured I'd start from the beginning with SG-1 [was it a smart move? :D]), so this is the first time I'm watching the whole thing. I'm excited! :DDD
Aww, you're (re?)watching The IT Crowd! One of the funniest shows ever. Brits do it best, not only when it comes to amazing cinematography, but also humour. People often complain they don't get British humour, but I love it!

Watching Lip Service, are you? I really like that show and can't wait for it to come back to me.
