I am up for some new shows. Any ideas?

So I read your criticism and I decided to set the bot into hibernation for 1-2 week in order to rewrite parts of the code.
Currently I'm handling followed and watched series the same way, I'm going to remove watched series from that and only keep the watched info in order to not recommend stuff you already know.
The coding doesn't take long, but I have to grab all of the data again because I didn't properly seperate these infos before.
I hope that I'll get better recommendations afterwards, thank you all for your feedback :)

I don't know where you get your information but it seems rather random and incorrect.

I'm only following 2 of the shows you use for recommendations and I'm NOT following (I double checked to be sure) How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, The Big Bang Theory.
And for a good reason, so you can imagine the recommendations are not something I want to watch.

Maybe you can focus on the shows I love? Too bad followmy.tv hasn't got a hate button or you could exclude those from the recommendations.

@spacejam That's fine, I was just making the point that the recommendor recommends me shows based on all 3 about 75% of the time. You may not watch them but you can't be ignorant of the fact that they are some of the most watched, mainstream shows.

Plus they aren't even similar other than a large audience so
idk why it would recommend anything based on those 3 shows (at once, not just one here and there, but all 3 for like 10 recommmendations) but any of the same 3 shows over and over is stupid, and constantly; just annoying so I blocked it

@likwidsolutions literally three shows I wouldn't watch if you paid me to. I'm sure there are loads of people who haven't watched those shows, for all kinds of reasons.

I suggest you stop giving suggestions based on Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad...literally the 3 shows that almost everyone has seen, including non-TV aficionados.

So, the Recommender, I tried your suggestions on Parks and Recreation, but it's not my type. Actually, I'm not really into comedy. And True Detective it's ok, but again it's not really my type. And Arrow I didnt even tried because I hate super hero kinda like.

But well, let's give another try. So, if I tell you, that from my watch list, my favorites are Banshee, The Affair, Masters of Sex, The Walking Dead, House of Cards and Mad Men. What would you suggest me?

@iphi I believe I owe you another thanks! I, Claudies seemed fairly interesting and with a good number of familiar actors, so I'll definitely watch that as well.

@Dukz Yeah, that is a shame. I don't mind being advised I watch 'popular' shows, but if they are in their +4th season already, and I have not watched a single episode (or only a few), you can then assume I want to keep it that way.

I had to think of another one you might appreciate, old again (1970s), but about Rome. The "I, Claudius" series from the BBC. Google it! ;)

@iphi Yeah, it ended up being that despite my initial misguided believe otherwise. It's a bit of a shame, because the recs I get are thus only very popular shows that I am very aware of but have chosen not to watch. Oh well...
