Okay, you all lied. I didn't cry. I fucking bawled. And I still am.

Just wait until you hear Sia's 'Breath Me' years from now and have a pavlovian response to it. I can't hear it without it affecting me.

Even thinking of stuff like the toast to Nate gets me a bit. A lot of people can't hear Breathe Me without breaking down - in fact, I've seen someone say the song came on the radio a day or two after they watched the finale and they had to pull their car over to weep. After I finished watching it I went to bed and cried for a good hour or so. I've seen a lot of incredible, emotionally affecting TV, but nothing else hit me quite like this.
@dragon504 Babylon 5 is the only one I've seen that can even come close to competing. I'll have to think long and hard about which one I think ended better. This one provided more overall closure, but that B5 finale was actually more cathartic throughout the whole episode (if you can believe that's actually possible). They're actually pretty similar endings in a way. Definitely a series more people should check out.
But yeah. This was ingenious. Loved it.
easily one of the top tv show endings ever, think The Shield is the only show with an ending I consider better
