@michaela The Bodyguard was good television for sure, intense, shocking (poor Keeley, yeah... bold move to kill her off halfway through though), but The Cry is a constant WOW and WHAT for me. I'm blown away by how many emotions it triggers in me. Jenna is phenomenal. Perhaps my favourite role of hers... And I like Victoria very much a lot.

I didn't trust Alistair since the beginning; he cheated on his wife, then barely gave a damn about Jo when she was struggling with post-partum depression I assume. All he cares about it is himself, his career and reputation. He doesn't even have his teenage daughter's best interests at heart. Best schools in Europe? He never asked her if she wants to go and live with him! Whatever happened, I'm sure he deserved to die. I think he might have something to do with the baby's death and is trying to gaslight Joanna into thinking it's her fault that the medicine bottles got switched. I'd have to rewatch the plane scenes, but towards the end of the flight Joanna finally fell asleep and he was the one taking care of Noah. It still could have been an accident, but at the end of the day it was him who talked her into covering the whole thing up, being in shock aside. It would be satisfying if Joanna and the ex wife teamed up to take their revenge on the dude for all that lying and manipulation, but right now I think it could be either of them, they both had their reasons. Knowing this show, I'll be surprised no matter what.

PS. I find it funny/cool/cute?? that Richard and Jenna starred in those big BBC shows, airing one after another, given that they used to be a couple. I mean, good for them and their careers!

@lizzymaxia haha I just finished 1x03 and ashfdjksdl wow I haven't seen THAT coming :O I don't know anything about book and/or real events it's based on, but it sure is full of unexpected twists!

I enjoyed The Bodyguard, but I didn't really care about who did it? Mostly I was just pissed off that they killed Keeley Hawes so soon (what a waste! :( ). And blown away by Richard Madden's acting.

@michaela I know!!!! The truth is apparently coming out tonight... Or is it??? Not even The Bodyguard kept me on my toes *this* much. I love psychological thrillers! After the first episode, I had a theory based on that real life story I mentioned, the one that happened in my country some years ago... and btw. I'm not entirely sure but The Cry might be based on an actual event as well? I know there's a book, but I'm afraid to google anything in case of spoilers. But after that reveal in the second ep, I was all asdfghjkl, because I expected only HALF of it. And now I have two theories (at least) and I guess tonight we'll see which one was closest to the truth.
