Followmy.tv API beta programme announcement
We are closing in on to getting our first beta version of our API out in the open.
Before we release the beast to the public we like to have a closed beta. We do this closed beta test to discuss endpoint ideas that developers would like, get feedback of the existing endpoints and general beta testing. This will be a very community driven development process to make sure our API meets all the possible needs to make super duper awesome integrations.
If you like to participate in the API closed beta, send an email to info@followmy.tv with the following information:
- Your followmy.tv username
- Your github.com profile if you have one
- How many people will be working on the integration (only you are a team of developers)
- Previous projects that you have developed that use an API
- A description of the plugin / app / integration you would use the API for
- The programming language that you will use
- The platform (ex: ios, android, web, desktop)
- If you are willing to contribute to the official followmy.tv API SDK libraries (specify the programming languages)
- Your contact e-mail address
- Your country / timezone (to make communication a bit smoother)
In this first stage we will be collecting applications for our beta programme. Once we feel confident that we can release the beta version of the API we will start sending e-mails to the applications to invite them to join the beta programme.

@kakature @sinkyourteeth Its a lot of work :( and currently i'm the only person working on the site at the moment. We both have full time jobs so its a bit hard to find time sometimes to work on it. Some competitors have funding and full time employees and its hard to compete against that
@kakature I just got an email from them the other day saying they're migrating to a new framework at the moment so things should be moving forward again soon.
Well, I guess this site is dead :( No updates, no API, no communications, no whatever. What a shame.
Any update on when the API or a public beta could be available?
I know you guys are busy, but I only know that from some random profile comment. Communication is everything :)
'How is the API dev going?' +1
How is the API development going?
I guess I'll wait for the public one. cab to write a full letter so I can do something for the community.
So how does it look like with public access?
@Lemon how much interest have you had so far? Just curious
@ingouk + boxee box :p
I am going to wait for public API. Hope it will be soon...
can someone please make a plugin/script thingy for XBMC? that tags/marks things i've watched from my library?
