In the south, Carmen tries to come to terms with the news that Iñaki has another son, while he discovers that taking care of two children is much more complicated than he expected. Something simple like going out to buy peppers becomes an adventure. At the clinic, Mr. Wan, the new Chinese investor, imposes his new and demanding standards. Carmen, Jozé, Dolores, Koldo and Irene struggle to care for a patient every eight minutes, just like Tomy, the new Híspalis signing who recently arrived from Miami, does. This makes Carmen fear for her job and that of her colleagues and she will have to look out for them. Cristóbal, shocked by the discovery that his father was a communist, confronts Don Benjumea with his past: Castrofidel. There he uncovers the truth that Benito has been hiding all these years: he fought together with Epi, the town's mayor, to create a communist paradise. But at the same time, Epi also discovers that his former comrade has become what he hates most: a noble landowner. In the north, Bego is worried because she fears that Iñaki will close the Kaia due to low income. Meanwhile, the Cuadrilla begins to suffer the invasion of tourist spots in the neighborhood and discover the power of gentrification.
