Scully's recent failing health is revealed to be inoperable brain cancer, which is common among abductees. She meets with other abductees with the same condition and forms a special bond with a dying woman, while Mulder tries to save her from a doctor who may be connected with the abductions.

The timeline of this episode is completely nonsensical, no? Scully gets diagnosed with cancer, finds and taken into the care of a specialist, begins chemo, and goes through enough chemo to experience multiple stages of illness. Meanwhile Mulder's adventures over the episode are pretty much explicitly shown to take like...two days? I get fudging timelines some but that's ridiculous
8/10
An effective episode that hits several deep emotional spots.
