I never watched that show, but they do sound a bit alike. This show is actually geared a bit towards action and mischief, with a former CIA agent as one lead character (James Caan) and a former soldier as the other (Josh Duhamel). I would say the security aspect is probably the biggest one, most of the time, on the show.
I'm not really sure there is a good comparison. It is one of those try it out and if you like it, you'll know.
@ColeFrost Big thanks for the detailled explanation on Las Vegas. Can you compare it to Hotel Babylon but in a casino?
I am going to try to watch the pilot tonight and see for myself.
Thanks

The show is a lot of fun. It was supposed to be the first show cancelled during the 2003 season, but ended up being the only show NBC kept.
I wouldn't call it through the roof acting, but Josh Duhamel (Transformers), James Caan (The Godfather), and a few others are really good on the show. It is also loaded with a number of hot chicks, including Nicki Cox, Molly Sims, Marsha Thomason, and Vanessa Marcil (My favorite).
Alright, so... The show is meant to be fun. They run a casino and deal with all the ups and downs of it. Fine looking women, celebrities, and events are part of the good, but also crime, bad guests, and other things make up the bad.
I loved this show. It is pure fun. Yes, there is some drama and yes, some action also. The show is more fun than anything, with both comedy and never bothering to take itself too serious.
You get to watch security and other members of the staff, as they try to do their jobs, but also constantly interact with each other. All in the Las Vegas setting.
I recommend the show, but don't expect it to be the greatest show ever. It is very entertaining, but not everyone in the cast can act and it can be a little too into celebs.
Of note, the show ends on a major cliff hanger, so be prepared. It was canceled before it got a chance to finish. It also crosses over, with Crossing Jordan, twice.
As a final thought, only about half the women that were ever on the show could actually act. The guys, though, make the show. The original three are really great.
I wouldn't go in expecting too much, but I would give it a chance, if I were you.
@NovakUB05 Let me know if this is any good please. I love casino movies/series. Ty :)
@ColeFrost Would appreciate your opinion as well if you got a minute ;)
