Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works. But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities... including love.

@poeimoei I totally agree
I don't understand why everyone is so upset about this. Yes, the beginning was way better. Isn't that with EVERY goddamn show? If you don't like it, stop watching, don't "torture" yourself, what's the point in that? I wouldn't watch something I don't like. That's just stupid and sad.
that's it. i'm done. fuck you chuck lorre for making nerds the butt of all the jokes. i bore with it when it was funny now it's just offensive, rude and horrible. the last episode was the last straw.
So, when is this shit finally getting cancelled?
Hey, you dumb Chuck Lorre. Stop making this geeky "Friends", stick with the regular nerdness. That's what we all loved about it!
i like this show and it has been pretty consistently funny. it's going the 2-and-a-half-men route now with the jokes becoming less funny and the laugh tapes grinding your ears but it's not that bad. that said i would have loved a show where the nerds AREN'T the butt of jokes but i guess the general american public just needs more excuses to pick on nerds.
This show has become a bad soap opera. The jokes are not witty anymore but see through, the actors start laughing at their own jokes before they've even said them, and the laugh tape is so annoying this becomes a burden to watch. I've been following this show from the very first ep ever, but it's time to move on to other things. Sad to see such a great concept go to ruins.
Very close to becoming the first show reaching 10k followers on followmy.tv :)
I love this show -- though a few days ago I re-watched the whole series and found I'm not really a fan of season 2 or 3 for various reasons, and things don't really seem to pick up until Bernadet and Amy are stock characters settled into their roles.
That said, purely as a few jokes and such (taking an episode individually that is) there isn't a single one I don't like. I love this show, and love how it's on pretty much all the time from 5-10 pm. Most shows I can't watch twice, and since I keep up with the shows I like that means I generally can't watch TV, as it presents shows on 'shuffle' so they have to be able to stand alone, but Big Bang Theory is a welcome exception.
Heester - I dont think so
