Levitation, telekinesis, the ability to control nature, even predict the future... since she was two years old, Bo has had gifts she could neither fully understand nor control. Raised by a small group known as the "True Believers," the orphaned girl has been safeguarded from harmful outsiders who would use her forces for personal gain. But now that she is 10, her powers have become stronger, and the threat has grown more dangerous.
With her life and future now in jeopardy, the "Believers" turn to the only person they see fit to be her full-time protector. That is, once they break him out of jail. Tate, a wrongfully imprisoned death row inmate who's lost his will, is initially reluctant - until he witnesses one of her extraordinary abilities. Bo sees people for who they truly are... and who they may become.
Tate and Bo begin their journey, one in which trust must be earned. Traveling from city to city, every place they stop and everyone they meet will be changed forever. But they'll have to keep going to stay one step ahead of the sinister forces after Bo's power... because it will take a miracle to keep them safe forever.
The powers of a young girl may hold the fate of our world in "Believe," from executive producer J.J. Abrams ("Revolution," "Star Trek: Into Darkness") and executive producer/writer/director Alfonso Cuarón ("Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," "Children of Men")

this was not a great show. frankly, i'm glad they're cancelling this and keeping hannibal on air. i'd much rather have me some gothic horror than an irritating, stupid girl with superpowers.
and... NBC has canceled “Believe”:

I just saw it today: 13 - "Perception" - Bo uses her powers to help a struggling police officer. Action is somewhere in the middle of the season, before founding Dani, but after the death of the other one with powers in New York Grand Central Train Station. With an interesting thing happening with Bo who discover how to take powers from someone, but never pursuit in next episodes. And with a direction in this episode with Bo continuing to help people with her powers – another thing left behind in next episodes.
From wikipedia:
Originally 13 episodes were to be aired, but only 12 were aired in the US. Although a thirteenth episode entitled "Perception," was never aired in the US, it was released on 24 June 2014 in New Zealand.
@b0sse it definitely filmed 13. this is likely an unaired ep in the middle somewhere judging from the previously on segment, not the actual 13th. nbc screwed something up somewhere, i'm sure many of the eps are slightly out of order. i liked the actual end finale (even if i wanted more) but i loved this show so i will watch the one ep i never saw, of course.
Hmm, apparently this became available just now:
Believe.S01E13.720p.HDTV.x264-SKGTV
Weird, seeing as how it was cancelled and this site only shows 12 episodes.
So sad this show is cancelled!! Don't understand. :'(
@Baltimore not heroes, but Touch yeah, with the kid always trying to help people and the parent protecting the kid from some organization

@Baltimore Bo and Tate's relationship is just such an interesting dynamic, can't wait until they discover their connection!!! I also love Jamie Chung
@thms Me too. It reminds me of heroes. It's very loveable.
I love this
umm. . . .
I've seen much worse pilots do very well, and much better pilots become shows I hated myself, or even actually do badly.
This has a couple things that say it could be a lot better soon, and has the kinda Warehouse 13 pilot kinda feeling of not being good, but enjoyable anyway, and leading into the series nicely enough.
Ugh
Shitty shit
The summary below, and the trailer were kinda painfully over-blown I think (no offence meant Bert). That said, I loved Firestarter, and Carrie (the latter only as a book) even with their flaws and I think this could be quite fun.
All right, I admit it, it's the damned song that caught me. NEver thought I'd hear a female singer do that one justice to be honest, wrong, surprisingly .
