Weaver leads volunteers to attack the aliens while Tom stays to protect the civilians. Rick escapes to return to the aliens which endangers everyone since he knows the 2nd Mass battle plan.

I really liked this show and I'll be happy when it returns. But the season finale was crap indeed... The emotional moments they forced upon the viewers weren hilarious. Especially SHOW SPOILER the kiss between Tom and the doctor

I have to say i agree with @fdesmedt glad i kept follwing it. They know we'll keep on watching with the gaps to be filled in... and damn I want answers in S2 :p

@fdesmedt guess it will become clearer in the next season.. still major gaps in the story
I still have a few questions though:
SHOW SPOILER The Skitters, the humans and the superior beings... how does it work? Because i'm getting a bit confused. Are the Skitters a race from a planet the superior beings invaded? Because they have those harnasses like the human children. But then you see how the harnassed children evolve (they start getting a stone type skin) and that confuses me. Are those harnasses some kind of bioweapon? or a real bugtype alien?
Major cliffhanger though! I wonder where they'll take the story next season, SHOW SPOILER with Tom being the lead character and all.
I'm happy that I pulled through the first couple of episodes because now it's really cool to watch. The ending was very nice!
