@ColeFrost I agree this was the best episode of the season, and I sure hope you're right about a return to quality :)
Now that they got the Americanizing over and have moved past the explanation part, it seems to be returning to classic Torchwood.
Jack suffering a great deal and having many sides has always been my favorite part of the show, but it wasn't there early in the season. They had to spend way too much time letting the new people learn about the show.
In my opinion, this has been the best episode so far this season. I don't think new people, to the show, will think it, but... I do think long time fans will. This was the first episode made for people who had watched the show prior to this season.
Now that they are back on track, I am expecting a big finish.
