After a dispute with his enemies, Nucky brings in a surprise guest speaker at a Memorial Day dedication for war veterans. Running out of options, Eli questions his allegiances, but it ends up sending him deeper into the hole. Nucky hires a new lawyer. Jimmy is taught a lesson by one of the Commodore's men that he won't soon forget. And Richard decides to go hunting in the forest.

Even knowing Richard likely wouldn't go through with it and kill himself, his journey in the woods was moving. Loved him and Jimmy giving it to that racist asshole in that gnarly scalping scene too

I wasn't sure tbh, that suicide scene was freaking intense!
I didn't like Richard's story in this episode. Very predictable. I knew he won't commit suicide. Plus, the second I saw the dog I knew that it take the mask. Richard is one of the most interesting characters, but this wasn't his best episode.
Fortunately, rest of the episode was brilliant as always. So cool to see Margaret with a gun :) Solid 4 stars.
What a bloody (get it?) good episode. Richard has become my favourite character in Boardwalk Empire.
Some brutal killings though, but I kinda liked it.
This episode was literally killing it!
It was like watching "Casino" or "GoodFellas" - stunning 50minutes and maybe the best of Boardwalk Empire so far.

What an amazing second season. Constant quality, this was another stellar episode imo. So far, I like season 2 better than season 1, which is quite a compliment.
