And the dog's voice was Edward James Olmos (Adama from @Battlestar Galactica)
Hehe yeah I enjoyed it as well (Carl The Car was hilarious), I always liked the Eureka Christmas specials. When I first read that they'll be animated I thought it would again be the 100times done before boring Claymation. But this was really funny and overal well done!
Great episode. I didn't expect much, going in, due to the animation. It ended up being really funny and the usage of all the different types of animation was great. I loved Jim Parsons (Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory) as Carl, Jack's Jeep. That may have been the funniest thing in the episode.
Between the homage paying and the all in on each animation type, that was a really well put together episode. They referenced just about everything they possibly could in 40 minutes. It actually reminded me of the ridiculous Stargate SG-1 200th episode, where they went all over the place and spent a big chunk of their budget, for a lot of fun.
Overall, it was way better than most Christmas episodes/specials.
