After Sanae's death, class 3 calls an emergency meeting while Kōichi is being interrogated by the police regarding Sanae. After he returns from the interrogation yet another death related to the class comes to pass, which leads to the rest of the class completely ignoring Kōichi the following day. As he tries to understand the reason behind the way the rest of the class is treating him, he receives a note telling him that Misaki Mei can explain everything to him. Later on, he visits the old lady's dollshop once again and receives an explanation from Mei regarding the mystery behind the deaths and the history of his class.
