And the whole series starts with the fact that winter is coming and with that the rise of all sorts of dark forces: white walkers, dragons, dark arts, ...
This is and stays a fantasy story. Although this isn't very obvious in the first season because it isn't winter yet.
In comparison with the books the series is moving quite rapidly imho.
The end fucked evrything up, really dissapointed. Look im ok with dragons and some mythical things, simply for the reason they mentioned them quite often already in the earlier episodes and you could expect it.These last 3 minutes were ridiculous, in the 13 previous episodes nothing was mentioned or showed about some sort of dark magic that went around in the world of GoT, out of nowhere, suddenly we have a powerfull dark witch who might match up to the dragons. This really saddens me, especially because its just another new element in this series while nothing really moves, if they keep this pace up, one of the 4 kings might end up in King's Landing within a season or 3. Some more movement in the story wouldnt be bad instead of keeping on making new storylines without anything that happens.
I only have one thing to say to that ending: WTF!
