Meanwhile, Brenda calls round to Pollard's to collect her coat and offers to help clean the B&B. David gives his dad a disapproving look, knowing what he's been up to. However, Pollard ushers David out as he enjoys a drink with Brenda. After coming downstairs, Brenda suggests a drink at The Woolpack, but Pollard wants to keep things quiet. Brenda agrees that keeping it a secret might be fun. Elsewhere, a guilty Sean offers to help Ali learn to read.
