This one just... pissed me off. Not the case, mind you, that was fine, but... the whole social pressure thing? would never happen in real life - instead the 'socailly awkward kid' wouldn't live up to the stupid task and would then be resented by his so-called friends. Some people just don't like sports or aren't good at them. They have other talents. And that is okay.
I would ditch friends that would push me into something that I have already tried and/or simply already know that I don't like.
Ugh, sorry for the rant...
