While passing through a cave, Leafa gets a message from Recon warning her to take care when she and Kirito realize that they are being followed and try to escape, only to cornered by a large group of Salamander players. Yui comes up with a plan to have Leafa cast some protective magic on Kirito while he conjures a spell that temporarily transforms him into a giant monster that obliterates the enemies, save for one whom Kirito bribes in exchange for information.
