Kirito rushes up the World Tree as high as he can but is blocked by the barrier set up by the moderators. As Yui calls out to Asuna, she hears her and throws down the key card to Kirito. Resolving to get to where Asuna is, Kirito decides to part from Leafa in order to take on the Grand Quest to reach the top of the tree himself.
