When the FBI takes on a case of disappearing college girls, Jack Crawford recruits Will Graham, a gifted criminal profiler with a unique view into the psyche of serial killers, to consult. Jack also seeks the help of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist, who, unbeknownst to him, is not only one of the most successful serial killers of all time, but also a cannibal. After a copycat strikes, Will and Hannibal join forces to track down the culprit.

I felt like a lot happened in this opening episode. Really looking forward to seeing how the show moves with the characters.
I don't know.. I don't know if I like it, i don't get it.. But, clearly a good start..
Mikklesen was such an awesome casting decision. The first episode was great, it showed a lot of promise. I wonder how the show will progress..
well, The Following had a great start, but I mean... This already feels like this is what The Following wants to be. A much bigger emphasis on the psychological, instead of The Following, which just shows us that Hardy is an alcoholic, but no consequences are shown and they tell us that Purefoy has gained all these followers through his clever use of Edgar Allan Poe poetry... except they never give us any of the material and show us that! we're just told to assume. Whatever Will's issues are, they aren't going to be glossed over here as an off-screen thing, as shown already. And comparing Mads Mikkelsen to James Purefoy, there's no question which guy is already the more convincing freak. My goodness, Mikklesen creeps me out lol.
Great first episode!
