Leo McGarry, and later Josh, will always be my favourite TV Chiefs-of-Staff, but that ambulance scene with Cyrus Beane puts him near that level now for me. great character.
all the somewhat nauseating romantic scenes for the shonda rhimes fans are easily dealt with when the thriller aspects are so unbelievably well done. this show is so damn good, excellent writing, walking the line of going over the top yet never quite reaching the comical level of throwing an intense amount of intrigue and scandal at your face.
SHOW SPOILER and Quinn?!?!!! Pardon my French, but holy fucking shit! Not only did I not see that coming, but I'm really excited to see her go batshit crazy!
one disappointing thing... we've had that guy who's clearly being set up as the big villain, for next year, and he's a black man... and of course, 2 black characters, they have to be father-daughter?!? Come on, Scandal! You're cleverer than that!
