Marion rows with Eddie and accuses him of cheating her out of their savings. Chalkie decides he's too old to uproot himself and leave England. Bob tries to convince him that he can start again and points out that he'll be miles away from Phyllis. Elsie decides to accompany Geoff Siddall to Belgium.
