Liam's searching the internet for a holiday for him and Maria. Maria suggests the Lake District so they can take Ozzy. After some persuasion Liam agrees. Jim waits for Steve in the cab office. Both Jim and Lloyd are shocked to hear that Liz and Vernon actually got married - they thought Liz had cancelled. Jim begs Steve to forgive him for thumping Vernon and Bob Castle and to let him still see Amy but Steve's had enough of his dad and tells him he's no longer part of the family. Carla sees Maria packing the car up and takes the mickey when she finds out they're only going to the Lakes. Maria's annoyed. As Liz and Vernon prepare to leave for their honeymoon in Nashville, Lloyd lets slip that Liz cancelled the wedding and then changed her mind. Vernon's devastated. Steve persuades Vernon to give Liz another chance. Liz tells Vernon she now realises how much she loves and respects him. Vernon forgives her and they leave for their honeymoon. Steve's relieved to see the back of them. While Liam and Maria drive up to the Lakes, Carla phones them. She winds them up about their down-market holiday. Liam's amused but Maria's sick of her and cuts her off. Liam promises not to mention Carla's name again while they're away. Tyrone and Kirk try and cheer up Jason who is lost without Sarah.
