While Mystic Falls observes its traditional Remembrance Day to honor the dead, Damon and Elena try to help Stefan through a confusing time, a task that ends up taking Elena on an emotional journey of her own. A worried Matt tries to figure out the reason behind his mysterious blackouts, and Caroline makes an effort to get to know Jesse better. Jeremy makes a startling confession that hits Damon hard. Finally, Dr. Maxfield puts a plan in motion that will change everything.

@Sandrosaurus Which sort of makes it worse? I mean, if he does remember, then he's emotionally abusing *everyone* in his life by pretending he doesn't. It's just really not okay.

Awful. Are we actually supposed to feel sympathy for Stefan after he's a complete jerk to Elena? Please. He's insufferable -- treating Elena like she's a piece of property that he lost. Nope.

This feels like a (more emotional) rip-off from season 1, but with Stefan & Elena in reversed situations. Liked the stefamnesia/Caroline scene.

Nice episode. Heart-wrenching moment near the end. This season is doing great so far.
