As the Cold War enters its final act, the CIA is sent scrambling when a rendezvous with a prized asset goes horribly awry. CIA officer Sandy Grimes begins her investigation into the source of the problem and quickly discovers that this lost asset is just the tip of the iceberg. Little does she know that this is just the beginning of a decade-long mole hunt, and the mole is one of her cohorts - Aldrich Ames.

More like a 2.5. I'm quite certain when I first read about this I hadn't a clue it was a spy show set in the 80s during the cold war nor was it a miniseries of just 8 eps. Though I can bet they decided it after the fact when they knew it was likely not to be a hit. Just call it a miniseries. Yeah ok sure. Now it just seems to be ABCs answer to The Americans, the vastly superior FX show which I do recommend. Meanwhile I'll just watch this one while I wait for the better show to come back.
