Lena's brother Willem has arrived in town after sailing. Lena tries to couple him with Dora, to the disliking of Kootje. Kootje is very jealous, but doesn't want to admit he's jealous. When he sees Dora laughing when he looks across the street through the window, he decides to confront Dora.
