Eddy Wally is intussen 82 en woont al bijna drie jaar in een rusthuis. Fysiek is hij zwaar gehavend sinds zijn hersenbloeding in mei 2011, maar geestelijk blijft hij heel erg scherp. In 'Kroost' vertelt Eddy Wally zijn verhaal, zoals hij het nooit eerder heeft verteld. Over zijn rolletje dat hij altijd met verve heeft gespeeld, over de zware familiale beproevingen met zijn dochter en kleindochter, en over de financiële malaise die hem jarenlang heeft achtervolgd.
