Natalie meets with a parole officer about her son Joey getting out of jail.
Meanwhile, Randal presses Brad about why he's been avoiding him. Brad explains to Randal that Alex is pregnant, and confesses that he's entertained some unpleasant thoughts about whose baby it could be, since he's already had a vasectomy. Brad comes to regret his treatment of Alex, however, when he finds out from his doctor that it's possible that his vasectomy failed, and he finally tells her about the procedure.
Later, as Natalie consoles Esperanza after Edward's assault on Julius, Esperanza reveals that Julius is connected to a Colombian cartel. Fearing for Edward's life, Natalie urges Esperanza to warn her ex-husband.
Then, at long last, Travis returns from Haiti, but he leaves Kelly in the dark.
