Three prostitutes in Antwerp, Berlin and Copenhagen are found dead. Shot through the left eye and with the finger cut off, they are found a few hours after the Belgian journalist Jean Louis Poquelin visits them. Europol sets up an investigation team led by the Dane Harald Bjørn, Jackie Mueller from Germany and Alicia Verbeek from Belgium and what at first appeared to be a series of brutal murders committed by a single perpetrator quickly develops into a much larger case.
