the burning scene was actually an idea from GRRM, so calm yourselves and enjoy the show instead of wanting it to be a copy-paste of the book.

@JeanRalphio This was me by the end of season four. And I am so thankful I didn't stick through it any longer to have to see that god awful Sansa and now Shireen stuff. I hadn't even read the books til after season four aired but fuck the changes have just ripped apart all the quality the show once had (And no Stoneheart? Come on.)
Also possible book spoilers though perhaps not? SHOW SPOILER D&D implied that GRRM told them that this would happen to Shireen in Winds of Winter, so dunno if it'll be in there or not.
But yea, fuck those gross, half-assed writers for taking the kickass books and caring only about their shock value.
and to think, shireen was just 2 weeks from retirement...
Yep, I'm done with this show, I never wanted to be a book purist snob, but seriously.
Having Sansa raped and beat up, burning sweet little Shireen alive, and that unnecessary pedophilia brothel scene, those are not in the books, and they do not add anything positive to the story, compared to how it is told in the books.
Fuck Beniof & Weiss.
No wonder GRRM doesn't want to write for the show anymore and doesn't really comment on changes.
He must be just a furious as us fans of his work.
