United Airlines Flight 811- Plane: Boeing 747. On February 24, 1989 After taking off from Honolulu International Airport (Honolulu, Hawaii), the plane's cargo door opened and the airplane experienced an explosive decompression that blew out 9 passengers and injured a lot more.
