The nine remaining hopefuls in Morocco are split into two teams before they take on a gruelling all-or-nothing race through the Sahara Desert. The losing team then have to face the dreaded survival challenge, where they compete against each other on the 'magic carpet'. The three bottom placed contestants are flown back to the UK and revealed in the studio and their their loved ones then have to battle to keep them both in the contest by answering a set of questions in a head-to-head round.
