Tottenham travelled to Everton looking to complete the double over David Moyes' side, following January's win at White Hart Lane.
Elsewhere, resurgent Sunderland hosted Liverpool, Wolves and Blackburn met in a relegation battle at Molineux, Stoke travelled to Chelsea, Bolton took on QPR, and Aston Villa met Fulham at Villa Park.
