Humphrey takes Martha on a romantic weekend to a hotel, but their time spent together is limited when the hotel's manager is murdered. Humphrey cannot understand how the murder was successfully carried out when the only access to the victim's room was via a staircase, which Humphrey had his eyes on the whole time.
