Er worden duifjes afgeleverd bij het huis van Samson en Gert omdat er niemand thuis was bij de Bolle. Octaaf komt langs en denkt dat ze voor hem zijn, maar ze blijken voor oom Alfons te zijn, hij houdt van duiven als gerecht en wilt ze opeten. Dat laat Octaaf niet gebeuren en hij verstopt de duifjes bij Samson en Gert.
