"Oh yeah, let's just pop over to The Wall from King's Landing in a single episode, the journey that normally takes ages and by the time one gets there a ton of shit happens in the rest of the world... No biggie..."
The show is a freaking highlight reel...
@Fish I agree on the bad writing, yep. It used to be great, but it's lost its flair pretty much around the time GRRM stopped working with them. At this point the only reason I'm watching are less than a handful of chars I like (or love in the books) and because the next book isn't out yet.
@jaythegreenling hehe, a bit harsh but I also disliked this episode. Some of the worst writing so far. How did Jaime escape so easily while everyone else was captured? Tyrion and Davos just walking into King's Landing alone and unprotected during wartime. Cersei hates Tyrion more than anything, but she still let's him meet with Jaime? And this stupid plan of capturing a white walker, bringing it to King's Landing, showing it to Cersei (who hasn't got any reason to doubt them) so they can all fight together.
And all this happens before the army of the dead even reaches the wall.
They're rushing the story. This is what happens when you do 7 episodes instead of 10. Worst season when it comes to storytelling.
This show is full of cheap "shock" moments and only held together by the shadows of the characters GRRM created. Too bad he's alive to see this shit happening.
Haha that group in the end...who expected them working together in the beginning of this series? Nobody, probably :p
A calmer episode. Not that I didn't like... I expected sth else. Still very good :)
This season is insanely good.
Just me or want someone else punch Sam hard in the face for not paying attention about what Gilly is reading?
Awesome!
