Per la prova in esterna, gli aspiranti chef si trovano all'Istituto per Ciechi di Milano dove devono preparare un menù per 35 persone non vedenti. Il giudizio dipenderà dai gusti esplosivi che ciascuna delle due brigate avrà saputo trasmettere attraverso i piatti. La brigata perdente dovrà affrontare un Pressure Test a staffetta.
