Evi en Sam helpen afdeling mensenhandel met een grootschalige inval bij het bungalowpark van Ingmar. Evi trekt de conclusie dat Sylvia nu hoofdverdachte is in de zaak van Eric. Evi licht Esther in en Esther confronteert Sylvia. Sylvia snapt er niks van en vertelt Esther wat er volgens haar op de bewuste avond is gebeurd. Ze probeert Esther te overtuigen om de baby over te kopen. Evi vermoedt dat Sylvia bij Esther is en besluit hen te observeren. Ingmar heeft deze informatie blijkbaar ook gekregen.
