She says she used heroin during her pregnancy, which resulted in her daughter, Avery, being born seven weeks premature and needing oxygen for two days to survive. Her mother, Becky, says Gabe’s addiction forced her to take guardianship of her granddaughter. Now, Gabe claims she is nearly one year clean and sober and wants her daughter returned to her care immediately.
